Debbie Burgermeister (formally Debbie Kirsch)

Deb is your horse coach, mentor and friend during your visit.

This country girl has grown up around horses all her life. She has competed in many different equestrian disciplines including Polocrosse, Pony Club, Showing & Dressage and has won literally hundreds of awards.

Her most accomplished achievments include:

• Sydney 2000 Olympic Games - Opening Ceremony performer.
  (Who can forget the amazing site of 120 horses opening the Olympics!!!)
• Sydney Royal Easter show 'Stockman's ride' performer.
• Reserve Forces Parade rider - Sydney City
  
• National level Polocrosse competitor
• Coach of the winning 2007 Junior Polocrosse Club
• Coach accreditation with the Australian Institute of Sport.
• Secretary Polocrosse Club

My role is to ensure our customers receive an educational, enjoyable and relaxing experience. I also support Debbie's ventures.

Bella

Bella is our magnificent kids pony.

 

This little pony is every girl's first love and every boy's best friend. The perfect 'L' plate pony for kids, she is friendly, responsive, huggable and lovable. Even the most nervous child has grown enormous confidence riding her. Just watch your child's skills rapidly develop on this 4 legged filly.

 

 

 

Doc

Doc is our faithful grand gelding. He is a joy to ride and loves lessons. Available for big kids and adults.

 

Milly

She's a great ol girl Milly. An ex racehorse thoroughbred who's now enjoying the quiet pastures of our horse retreat. Giddy up girl!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Max

Max is our faithful old gelding. His placid gentle nature and willngness to listen makes him the ideal adults training horse. He is about the most gentle natured horse you could ever meet.

He has a very soft spot in all our hearts. We love him dearly. He is available for large kids and ladies only.

 

 

Jenny

Jenny is a stockhorse who is a pleasure to take on our trail rides. Some of staff just love taking her in the arena as she is very responsive. In the arena she is great fun for our more experienced riders.

Tanya Tucker

Affectionally known as "TT", she is a faboulous horse for newbies. A gentle nature, she is great horse for those wanting to develop their confidence. This girl does love a slow trot and canter when asked.

Gus

Gus is our ever faithful big puppy.  He loves to say hello and is full of energy. He will play fetch with a stick for hours on end. (Its been done and tested!).
He is a real favourite with visitors and riders alike.

                                   

Gizmo

Our house cat and supreme leader.  She gets EVERYTHING she wants. Named after the Gremlins movie, she loves to look cute and laze around the retreat basking in the sun. But put her next to water......
