A pony ride to give the experience of what it is like to ride a real pony/horse and intro to riding balance
Come along to a single session or attend regularly until you have the confidence you need to handle horses and know how to prepare your horse to ride. A step towards maybe owning a horse one day.
A great introductory way to start your horse experience around the stables with the basics in horse safety, care & handling, horse related games and the understanding of preparing a horse rto ride.
You are introduced to the fundamentals of horse care around the stables (grooming, handling, saddle & bridle) & a touch of the very basics in riding. A fantastic low cost, slow paced start to your horse experience.
- This is focused on non-riding as there is so much to learn with safety & confidence before riding
- How to approach them, catching, leading, tie up knots, grooming and learning all about horse care.
- A short 10-15min ride per person for the last half of the session.
A great intro to obtain horse ownership knowledge. Purchase the Giddy Up Beginner Books to help you prepare and understand what is involved with horse care, how to ride and owning a horse or going out and buying your first horse. First aid treatments, hoof care, drenching, feeding, supplements, bandaging, horse and saddlery gear and so much more.
This can be a great option for a birthday party if you book all the spots to have your own private session. Or check availability for lessons and make a booking with a 60 minute private riding lesson for up to 4 riders.
